8. Movie house should be inspected :-
(1) The person who constructs the movie house should be inspected by the movie house inspection committee after the construction of the movie house.
(2) If the movie house inspection committee finds that the provisions mentioned in rule 6 have been fulfilled while inspecting the movie house, it shall also inform the ministry and related persons.
8a. Inspection of movie theaters:-
(1) Regarding whether the movie theaters have minimum provisions as per this regulation, the board shall inspect each movie theater at least once in three years with the help of relevant experts as needed.
(2) When checking the movie house according to sub-rule (1), if it is not found that the minimum provisions that should be in the movie house according to this regulation are not met, the board will order the concerned licensee to complete the missing provisions within a specified time.
(3) If the licensee does not improve the movie house within the period given under sub-rule (2), the board will send such licensee in writing to the relevant agency for necessary action and the relevant agency shall also take necessary action as per the written notice.
8b. Provisions related to film exhibition in other places :-
(1) Notwithstanding anything else written in this regulation, if anyone wants to exhibit a film in any place other than a cinema hall, he must submit an application to the Ministry for approval in the format prescribed by the Ministry.

(2) If an application is received according to sub-rule (1), the ministry will send a written recommendation to the concerned movie house inspection committee to recommend whether or not to screen the film in such a place.
(3) Sub-rule (2) According to the written inspection from the Ministry, if it is found that the minimum provision as per sub-rule (1) of rule 6 is fulfilled in such place, the movie house inspection committee shall make a recommendation to the ministry.
(4) According to sub-rule (3) If recommended by the investigation committee, the ministry will move to such a placeThe applicant will be approved in the format prescribed by the Ministry to demonstrate the place.
(5) When giving permission to exhibit a movie in a place other than a movie house, according to sub-rule (4), granting a license to exhibit a movie or renewing such a license according to sub-rule (3) of rule 10, the fee applicable to a "(c)" category movie house will be charged.
(6) The conditions to be followed by the person who has received approval according to sub-rule (4) shall be as prescribed by the Ministry from time to time by publishing a notice in the Nepal Gazette so that the technology of the film is suitable.
(7) According to sub-rule (4), other provisions regarding the inspection of the place approved for showing the film shall be the same as the film house.
